Second Saturdays @ The Globe

Join us for Second Saturdays at the Globe Gallery, a family-friendly afternoon dedicated to creativity, learning, and fun for children of all ages. Held on the second Saturday of each month from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this free community event features a hands-on art activity designed especially for kids, along with complimentary snacks and refreshments. Second Saturdays provide a welcoming space for families to explore the arts together, spark imagination, and connect with the community in a relaxed and engaging environment.

Sensory Friendly Wednesday

Sensory-Friendly Wednesday is dedicated to creating a calm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all visitors. Held on the fourth Wednesday of every month from Noon to 7:00 PM, the Globe Gallery offers a quieter experience with dimmed lighting and no background music, allowing guests to explore the artwork in a peaceful setting. Whether you prefer a low-sensory environment or simply enjoy a more relaxed gallery visit, everyone is welcome to experience art at their own pace.

On View

Open House - June 5th - July 31st

More than a celebration of our opening, this presentation marks the beginning of an ongoing conversation about the importance of art and its role in the cultural life of Scranton. With this first exhibition, Globe Gallery establishes itself as a premier destination for contemporary art. Where artists feel supported, visitors feel engaged, and all are invited to experience the transformative power of art.

Up Coming...

Project Scranton - August 7th

Project Scranton is a group photography exhibition that reflects on the character, history, and quiet beauty of the city of Scranton. Through images of its architecture, neighborhoods, street life, landmarks, and urban landscapes, the exhibition forms a collective portrait of the city as interpreted by local photographers.

3rd Annual Plein Air

Over four days, artists are invited into the city’s streets, parks, and architectural landscapes to paint directly from observation—responding in real time to light, weather, movement, and atmosphere. From the quiet edges of neighborhood streets to the enduring presence of Scranton’s historic core, each work becomes both document and interpretation of place.
